FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Coaching is a process with the goal to improve performance and focuses on the ‘here and now’ rather than the distant past or future. Coaching is about unlocking an individuals potential to maximize their performance.

We are coaches, NOT therapists. We will help you identify the areas of your stepfamily situation that cause you the most stress. Together we will prioritize these issues and find practical ways to overcome them in an action oriented approach.

  • One-on-one coaching sessions are personalized to your unique situation. You get your coaches full attention without any distractions. We look at specific stressors and issues you are facing and we find solutions that work for you. We help you to see situations from different perspectives, to help you make informed choices and provide additional tools and resources for you to add to your toolbox. You will get so much more from a one-on-one session than you will get from a blog post or guide.

  • Actually it takes strength and courage to make the decision to no longer suffer in silence and reach out for help. • Your friends and family mean well and come from a place of love, however they have their limitations and can be biased. A professional coach has training and can help you approach your situation in a new way, teach you new skills, provide different prospectives, listen to you without judgement or expectations, and help guide you to solutions.
